September’s RINO of the Month is someone who’s been known to get a little sensitive about his consistently liberal voting record. Unfortunately, this Wyoming “Republican” only chooses to double down when the people of Wyoming point out his mistakes.
This month’s award goes to Senator Stephan Pappas (SD07, Laramie).
After shilling for a huge fuel tax increase during August’s Joint Transportation Committee meeting, Senator Pappas co-authored a guest column in Wyoming newspapers with far-left Democrat Representative Liz Storer. The column echoed the talking points of Elizabeth Warren complaining about so-called “tax cuts for the rich” while crying crocodile tears over the modest property tax cuts passed by the Wyoming Legislature (and demanded by Wyoming Republicans) for the last several years.
Senator Pappas has an abysmal voting record, earning 11% on this year’s WyoRINO scorecard.
Term ends 2027
