It’s officially summer, which means it’s time to break out the barbecue grill, tidy up your property, and enjoy some much needed sunshine. For Wyoming RINOs, the summer is also a time to recede into obscurity, hopeful that no one will remember how you voted during the Legislative session just a few months ago.
June’s RINO of the Month award goes to freshman Representative Julie Jarvis (HD 57, Natrona). Representative Jarvis is the poster child for Wyoming RINOs, earning a whopping 20% score on our 2025 Scorecard.
During her first session in Cheyenne, Jarvis spent cumulative hours on the House floor attempting to weaken, derail, or destroy every piece of legislation aligned with the Wyoming Republican Party Platform. Regurgitating talking points from the Democrats, she fought against pro-life bills, protecting girls bathrooms, universal school choice, and property tax reform.
Critics dismiss WyoRINO by claiming that we engage in unfair name calling- but if someone is a Republican in Name Only, we’ll call it like it is: she’s a RINO.
