There’s perhaps no better example of a RINO than disgraced former Congresswoman Liz Cheney. As she parades around the country campaigning for the most radical presidential ticket in American history as a “Republican,” it’s clear that she is suffering from a nasty condition — worse than COVID-19 — called “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” often known as TDS.
November’s RINO of the Month is another victim of TDS: soon-to-be former Representative Jon Conrad (Uinta, HD 19). Conrad lost his primary election race and has since launched his own write-in campaign, parroting the Democrat talking points of Liz Cheney and Nancy Pelosi while decrying the conservative bona fides of his victorious opponent.
While in office, Conrad sponsored a bill to spend half a million dollars on a mining mural in the State Capitol while his constituents in Uinta County face crushing federal regulations that seek to kill their mining jobs for good. He voted to continue to allow unelected bureaucrats in the Governor’s office to abuse the citizens of Wyoming under the guise of “public health emergencies.”
Conrad is no Republican, and soon, he won’t be a Representative either. Lying to the people about one’s political affiliations doesn’t always end well.
