RINO of the Month July 2023

Sen. Cale Case

WyoRINO is proud to announce July’s RINO of the Month. This month’s award was apparently highly coveted, as RINOs across the State of Wyoming looked to be competing for the title with a great fervor!

For example, Representative Berger (HD 49, Uinta) called for Wyoming taxpayers to foot the bill for the college tuition of illegal immigrants! Perhaps worse, Representative Harshman (HD 37, Natrona) spat in the face of taxpayers during the Joint Revenue Committee Meeting’s public comment period. In friendly fashion, Representative Barry Crago (HD 40, Johnson, Sheridan) threatened to have constituents removed from a town hall event before it had even begun. We can’t forget that Martha Lawley (HD 27, Big Horn, Washakie) held a town hall that ended with a constituent being lectured for daring to record the (public) meeting.

Sadly, not every RINO can earn WyoRINO’s RINO of the Month Award. This month, the title goes to Senator Cale Case (SD 25, Fremont). During June’s Joint Revenue Committee Meeting in Sheridan, Senator Case groveled to Bill Gates and the woke environmental Leftists, claiming that “the future is not a coal based future.”

Those with common sense know that if left alone, the market will best determine what forms of energy we should utilize. The Biden Regime and Governor Gordon appear determined to destroy Wyoming’s legacy industries through heavy-handed economic manipulation, pushing in untested and unaffordable energy resources as opposed to what is market driven and reliable. It appears that Senator Case is along for the ride to energy poverty as well.
