This month’s RINO of the Month Award goes to Senator Ogden Driskill (SD 1, Campbell, Crook, & Weston).
The former “Republican” President of the Senate is looking more like a Democrat every day, voting against basic Wyoming GOP priorities left and right.
Since the start of the Legislative Session, Senator Driskill voted against a bill that would have banned foreign adversaries like the Chinese Communist Party from owning Wyoming agricultural land (House Joint Resolution 2). He also voted against a bill to help our state partner with President Trump’s common sense agenda to deport criminal illegal immigrants (Senate File 124). He voted against property tax reform (House Bill 282), a bill to stop local governments from violating your constitutional rights (Senate File 85), and a bill to protect Wyoming from environmentalist land grabs (House Bill 93).
During debate on a bill to rid our state institutions of DEI, Driskill turned on his microphone only to call the bill “dangerous.”
These are basic platform issues. What does being a Republican mean to Senator Driskill?
