2025 is coming to a close, which motivates us to reflect on the worst RINOs in the Wyoming Legislature.
There’s Senator Tara Nethercott (SD 4, Laramie), a gaslighter who consistently votes for bloated budgets and runaway spending while insisting (condescendingly) that she’s a true conservative Republican.
Then you have Representative Lloyd Larsen (HD 54, Fremont), (ROM: October 2025, July 2024, December 2020) defender of drag queens and apologist for the radical LGBT agenda.
Of course, there’s Senator Cale Case (SD 25, Fremont) (ROM: July 2023, May 2021), a self-declared enemy of religious homeschoolers and someone who believes sex isn’t binary (yes, he really said that).
Of the many RINOs in the Wyoming Legislature, there’s one lawmaker who takes the cake, and that person deserves the final RINO of the Month Award of 2025: Representative Bob Nicholas (HD 7, Laramie).
Representative Nicholas consistently earns the lowest WyoRINO score of all legislators year after year. He’s fought against medical freedom, sound fiscal policy, school choice, tax relief, parental rights, and pretty much every other priority of Wyoming Republicans.
Previous Awards: January 2025, June 2024, February 2021
